While we were in Sun Valley, we went to watch the Olympic skaters.
And they were amazing.
The speed.
The control.
The grace.
The strength.
It was beautiful to watch.
At one point, one of the male skaters came out onto the ice, struck his opening pose, and waited for the music to begin.
The music started.
And immediately…
It was wrong.
Wrong song.
Wrong rhythm.
Wrong track.
It did not match his routine at all.
Bless his heart, he just stood there in his pose and said something like,
“Hello… that is not my music.”
And then he waited.
Because no matter how talented he was, he could not skate his program to the wrong music.
The rhythm mattered.
And that made me think about business.
Your business needs a rhythm too.
Not just more sales.
Not just more effort.
Not just more scrambling.
A real financial rhythm.
A way to know what is happening in your business before things feel urgent.
Do you have a daily number you check?
Do you have a weekly report?
Do you know what is creating revenue?
Do you know what is actually profitable?
Do you know what is working?
Do you know what needs to stop?
I know that can feel overwhelming.
So start simple.
Pick one metric.
Just one.
Start by asking:
What is creating revenue — and is it actually profitable?
That one question can change the way you lead your business.
Because revenue alone is not the whole song.
Profit matters.
Cash flow matters.
Timing matters.
And when your financial rhythm is off, everything feels harder than it should.
That’s exactly what Profit Essentials helps you build.
It’s my $97 foundation course designed to help you stop guessing, organize your business money around profit, and start making clearer financial decisions.
So you can stop skating to the wrong music — and finally get your business into a financial rhythm that works.
